Founded in 1989, the Irish Immigration Center is a nonprofit, charitable organization that represents Irish immigrants before federal immigration authorities throughout the United States. It provides information, legal advice, and referral and support services to clients on various issues related to immigration, employment, citizenship, housing, health care and substance abuse. The center works with various organizations and individuals in a range of issues. It conducts seminars, classes and workshops on antiracism and immigrants rights. The center accepts donations from individuals and businesses. It partners with various institutions, such as the Irish Cultural Center, American Conference for Irish Studies and Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. The Irish Immigration Center is located in Boston.
