The owner of the Reliable Trading Post claims that hers is the only authentic place of it's kind in New England, and she enforces an ecclectic set of rules to go with that belief - the first of which is that nothing that couldn't have existed in the 1800's should be in her store. While technically that excludes any customers, her point is more directed toward cell phones and anything "www" or "dot com". Perhaps you'll want to inquire about the TV she watches in the office. Offering antiques and collectibles, the post is housed in a delightfully rustic renovated home with a two-story barn built in 1894 out back. Feel free to bargain or offer trades if you don't like her prices - that's why it's called a trading post.
