The Newton Highlands Community Development Corporation is a private, non-profit organization that bring together residents of the town at the Hyde Community Center. The organization schedules events activities both on- and off-site. The facilities are available to rent through for a fee. The community center is a short walk from the Newton Highlands MBTA stop (green line, D branch). The center is also accessible by the #59 MBTA bus, which stops at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Bowdoin Street.
