The Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library, a part of Perkins School for the Blind, provides free services to citizens who are unable to read due to visual or other physical disabilities. The library serves the residents of Massachusetts. It maintains an inventory of publications that are composed in various media, such as Braille, video and large-sized text form. The Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library is funded partially by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. The library has a collection of reading material in several languages, including English, French, Chinese, German, Hebrew, Italian, Russian and Spanish. Additionally, the Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library provides Braille, reference, foreign language and instructional music services.
