Doherty & Sons Funeral Home originally opened in Wellesley in 1937. In addition, the family now owns three other funeral service homes - Needham, Dedham and this West Roxbury location which opened in 2000. The business is run by brothers George Doherty Jr. and Edward Doherty, both of whom are licensed funeral directors and embalmers.
