Best known around town for its display of lights at Christmas, Our Lady of Fatima Shrine Mission Center is the first Xaverian missionary founded in the United States. The church features 20 stained glass windows depicting the life of the Virgin Mary. Fatima Shrine has a large outdoor worship area with what is believed to have the world's largest rosary.
There is also a cemetery for past Fatima missionaries, a slice of an ancient Sequoia tree and a crucifixion scene on Calvary Hill, which overlooks the grotto. In the grotto, there is a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta and a United States map traced into the grass.
