History
New England Movement Arts (NEMA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based, multi-activity facility offering world-class instruction in martial arts, dance, fencing, and fitness. NEMA was founded in early 2013 by Melinda and Cosmin Marculetiu, both retired professional ballet dancers turned master teachers; Nathan Porter, a national karate champion; and Michael Chang, a black belt martial artist.
Specialties
New England Movement Arts offers youth and adult classes that cater to all experience levels and to both recreational and pre-professional students. With each class, NEMA strives to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the movement arts. Our instructors are trained professionals and we offer classes in dance, martial arts, fitness, fencing, and yoga.
