South Shore Habitat for Humanity provides quality housing and housing renovations for those in need throughout the South Shore area, building more than fifty homes in more than twenty towns since its founding in 1986. All homes are carefully designed to comply with the zoning requirements of their location, as well as to blend in with the landscape and architecture of their neighborhoods. Homes are also designed to be energy-efficient and can be ADA compliant, but most importantly, Habitat for Humanity allows families to have a place to call home. In addition, South Shore Habitat for Humanity donates a percentage of its funding to help finance home building in El Salvador.
