The Massachusetts Cultural Council promotes educational programs related to arts, sciences and humanities. The council organizes various grant programs, partnerships and services for nonprofit cultural organizations, schools, communities and individual artists. It organizes various funding programs with the support of the state legislature and various other agencies, such as the National Endowment for the Arts and Wallace Foundation. The council also offers a wide range of grant programs, including Adams arts, artist grants, creative schools programs, cultural facilities funds, local cultural council programs and the New England States Touring program. It additionally organizes other programs through the disbursement of cultural economic development grants that include grants for cultural activities, job development and tourist attractions. The council is located in Boston.
