In 1993 Jim purchased the current location at 164 Blossom St, right off the Lynnway Route 1A. Since 1977, their business has transformed from J.E.M. Car Care into Jim McLaughlin's Transmission Centers & added Lynnway Truck Center, a full service truck repair facility. In 1996 they added JME Towing, Inc., a 24-Hour Emergency Road Side Service facility. Their entire tow crew is TRAA Certified. Recently their business has changed from Trans Centers to McLaughlin's Car & Truck Repair Ctr.
