Housed in a modified turn-of-the-century estate on Lowell Street, Lexington Prep School is aimed at providing international students with the language and foundation they need to succeed in secondary or college education in the United States. The boarding school offers a variety of programs, including English and SAT courses in summer, flexible boarding programs during school vacations and holidays and weekend classes for local students.
In addition to 70 dormitories for students, the school facility includes a computer lab, library, auditorium, cafeteria, infirmary and a music and recreational room. Students can also play soccer and basketball on campus and participate in league sports through the school's relationship with other nearby organizations.
Though enrollment varies throughout the year, the school has as many as 80 students during the summer months. Students typically range in age from 11 to 18.
