This field hosts the majority of the Melrose High School athletic teams. Track, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer and football teams all call Fred Green Field home. The grass field is situated directly behind Melrose High School on Tremont Street. The 400-meter track circles the football field, and adjacent to the field, is a practice area for the Melrose teams. Don't worry about eating at the game, as the concession stand located at the far end of the field is always well-stocked. Parking on Tremont Street is limited to one side, so you may try parking at the high school for athletic events.
