Leitmotif Music Studio offers both classical and jazz piano lessons with accomplished pianist and studio owner Ramona Borthwick. Lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels are available. A focus on a solid foundation and technical skills are taught to beginners, and lessons for exploring personal creativity and refining techniques are offered to more advanced students. Lesson topics include music theory, harmony and rhythm; jazz improvization and theory; aural development and composition. Lessons are offered weekly and last one hour. Ms. Borthwick strives to make the lessons and assignments as fun and creatively fulfilling as possible. For those on vacation or otherwise in other areas, Skype lessons are offered as well.
