Established in 1972, Keefe Regional Technical School is a four-year public high school accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Keefe Tech serves students from the the towns of Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton and Natick. Keefe's principal is Jonathan Evans. The school is part of the South Middlesex Regional Vocational Technical School District lead by Superintendent/Director James M. Lynch. Keefe offers students a complete college preparatory and honors academic curriculum and 14 career and technical programs.
The career and technical program component of Keefe consists of a freshman exploratory year, followed by three years of preparation in one of fourteen different career and technical areas. Beginning in the tenth grade, an alternating week schedule of vocational and academic instruction is introduced. The career and technical training programs offered at Keefe include: automotive technology, carpentry, cosmetology, culinary arts, design and visual communications, early education and care, electrical, graphic communications, health careers, horticulture, information support services & networking, metal fabrication and joining technologies, office technology and plumbing.
