Partners HealthCare, operational for more than 15 years, is an integrated health system. Founded by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, it is headquartered in Boston. It comprises academic medical centers, community hospitals, specialty hospitals, community health centers, a physician network, home health and long-term care services, and other health-related entities. The center is one of the United States leading biomedical research organizations. A nonprofit organization, it is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
