The Worcester Jewish Community Center has been in existence for more than 60 years, organized in the 1940s as an activity center for Jewish youth. The purpose of the center is to strengthen and enrich the lives of all Jews in the Greater Worcester Community through diverse programming and services for families and individuals. In addition the JCC serve as a common meeting ground and fosters relationships in an environment made up of rich customs and traditions of Jewish heritage. The center promotes life-long health of the body and mind through recreational and fitness services and cultural and educational activities. The Worcester JCC is a member agency and a beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts. Membership is open to all, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or economic condition.
