Harvard Club of Boston was founded in 1908 by its alumni to promote the welfare of Harvard University, encourage the social, intellectual and athletic interests of its members, assist worthy students with financial aid and foster the Harvard spirit in all Harvard men and women. Located in Boston, the benefits of its membership include overnight accommodations for members, family and friends, dining facilities and use of function rooms, accommodating 10 to 400 people, for weddings, birthdays and meetings. The club provides an athletic center with various facilities, including squash courts, aerobics classes, treadmills, lifecycles and stairmasters. Harvard Club of Boston offers a calendar of special events during the year, which includes 4th of July celebrations, traditional family dinners on Thanksgiving, Easter and Mother's Day, gourmet wine dinners, and lecture series.
