History
The Hardwick Vineyard and Winery is a local family winery, proudly operated by founder and owner John Samek, and located on a quiet country road that winds around the Quabbin Reservoir, in the central Massachusetts town of Hardwick. In 1997, the family bought the house and its 150 acres of land, and began the painstaking process of authentically restoring it. The 5,000 square foot timber frame barn was built by cutting oak from the farms 150 acres of land. The barn is where the wine is made as well as where the tasting bar is and an open deck to enjoy the views and live local music in the summer or inside by the cozy wood stove. Please join us for a tasting or the day or to pan your next event!
