History
After studying painting at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, I eventually gravitated away from 2D Visual arts and toward another lifelong passion: working with animals. I graduated from Pedigree School and went to work at a high-end grooming salon on Newbury Street in Boston. Taking a break from grooming to focus on my young family, I moved, with my husband, Ed, and our four children to the Chiltonville area where we started Scarlet Farm and began raising a small flock of sheep, chickens and pet bunnies. (The first Icelandic sheep in our flock was named Scarlet. Hence the name.). I started grooming again at a wonderful shop in downtown Plymouth where my passion for grooming reignited. Grooming at Scarlet Farm was born out of my desire to offer custom grooming from the location I love most: Home!
