Start by saying I understand it is probably considered a "dive bar" but that doesn't mean it needs to be dirty. Additionally if you are not a regular patron you definitely will feel out of place.

Bartenders are awesome! Prices are extremely good, very homey vibe and fun. They do a lot of different game nights, trivia, near raffles, etc. people who come are friendly
