Corinthian Yacht Club was founded in 1885 to promote sailing of small boats. It is a full-service yacht club that offers members and visiting skippers a broad range of racing events and accommodation facilities. The club provides sail yachts of various sizes and offers a wide range of activities, such as cruising, racing and sailing craft. It also offers handicap racing that occurs under Performance Handicap Racing Fleet and handicapping through the Mass Bay Sailing Association. It organizes various events, including social, recreation, and sailing and racing; and parties in its ballroom, and dining and trophy rooms. The club operates the Corinthian Sailing Foundation, an independent nonprofit corporation. Corinthian Yacht Club is located in Marblehead, Mass.
