Bisected by Summit Avenue at the peak of Corey Hill, this four-acre park is especially popular with sun tanners in the summer and sledders in the winter. On the north side of Summit Avenue, the park slopes down toward Jordon Road and is topped with benches that afford views of the Boston skyline when the trees lose their leaves in the winter. On the other side of the road, the park includes a wood-chip playground with slides, swings and a sandbox.
Corey Hill Park is part of Brookline's Green Dog Program, which allows users to let their dogs off leash during certain hours. At Corey Hill, dogs are allowed off leash from dawn to 9am on the north side of the Summit Avenue, but must be kept on leash on the playground side of the park.
