History
What is now home to Cochato Nursery was originally inhabited by the Cochato and Ponkapoag tribes, who called the land Cochaticquom. The Cochato River runs through Broad Meadows to South Braintree and the surrounding area. For the past two decades Owners Charles Franklin Doughty III and Sue Ellen DuBrava have transformed this property into an elegant Nursery and Display Garden; full of unique and delightful plants. The Nursery and Display Garden are constantly evolving, as new features are added every year.
