This First Church of Christ, Scientist is an imposing building located across from the Hyannis Fire Department. Christian Science teaches that God and his creations are entirely good and spiritual and that God has made all things in his likeness. They believe prayer is the foundation of belief. Sunday services and Sunday school are both at 10:30am. Services in Portugese are held on the first Sunday of every month at 2pm. There is also a Wednesday night Testimony meeting at 7:30pm. The church maintains a reading room at 357 Main St., Hyannis.
