Chet's has been a Northborough institution in some form since 1931. The current owners have been there since the '60s and in that time it's been everything from a place for road weary truckers to grab a coffee to a rock'n'roll venue. Truckers are still welcome with plenty of room in the back to park. Remaining from the days of rock is a pub in the back room. Six days a week it's breakfast only and cash only at Chet's. That is, except for Friday evenings. when it is open from 4:30-8 p.m. and serving fish and chips. Also, a full bar.
