The Charlestown Recovery House was established in 2008 and serves as a halfway house licesned by the state Department of Pubic Health. It offers a residential program for men 18 years or older and staff help residents practice a sober life. Stays at the house last between 6 and 9 months. The Recovery House was organized by local residents after Father Ron Coyne of St. Catherine of Siena Parish brought members of the community together to discuss building a halfway house in Charlestown.
