Chabad Lubavitch of the North Shore is a traditional Jewish shul. Congregants come to this shul to pray, learn and talk. There is no set membership or assigned seats, in keeping with tradition. All chairs at the shul face the handmade Torah ark, an ornate cabinet that holds the Torah scrolls. Men and women sit on opposite sides of the sanctuary. The shul serves Jews throughout the North Shore and from as far away as Brookline. It is a home for spiritual growth and learning.
