Celebrity Series of Boston is New England's leading presenter of music, dance, and the performing arts from around the world. Founded in 1938, the Series incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in 1989. Specialties

Each year, the Celebrity Series brings to Boston's major concert halls (Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall, Cutler Majestic Theatre, Sanders Theatre, The Opera House, Paramount Theatre, Wang Theatre and others) performances by instrumental and vocal soloists, symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, dance companies, jazz and popular music performers, folk and ethnic performance groups, and other performing artists.

Based in a former school building, the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts is a multimedia arts center in downtown Concord. The center offers dozens of art programs and dance classes for adults and children. The center also hosts birthday parties. Twice a year, artists hold open studio events. Facilities include a 400-seat theater that is available for rent for special events.
