Carson Center for Human Services is a private, nonprofit, community-based agency, offering a range of behavioral health and rehabilitation services for children, adolescents, adults and families. Founded in 1963, the center provides emergency services 24-hours, seven-days a week to individuals and families experiencing mental health and substance abuse difficulties. Its Center for Development serves the outpatient mental health needs of adults and children who face the cognitive challenges resulting from a developmental disability. The center s clinical programs are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. It is affiliated with Massachusetts-based Noble Hospital, and works in partnership with other community agencies. The center accepts various third-party insurances, including MassHealth, Medicare, Blue Cross, private insurances, and managed care and health maintenance organizations. Carson Center for Human Services is located in Westfield, Mass.
