History
I have practiced in the Boston area for almost two decades with a two year hiatus in Costa Rica. My wife and I wanted to expose our kids to a different way of life and to let them learn Spanish. It was a wonderful experience but it was time to return and now I practice in a lovely space right in Coolidge Corner. I find my work very rewarding. I love helping my clients find a healthier and more effortless way of living in their bodies.
Specialties
Eli Thompson has been offering his style of Deep-Tissue Therapeutic Massage for almost two decades. His work is slow and deep, with a gentle, listening touch. He does not impose change onto the body but rather evokes it. All sessions are 1.5 hours since it takes time to catch up, connect, and really let go. Clients leave pain free, feeling thoroughly relaxed and renewed. Eli's specialty is resolving chronic, long term pain and postural dysfunctions. Our bodies grow a strong, leathery tissue called Fascia that keeps our organs and muscles in place and supports us in everything we do. Over time, the Fascial web can grow into chronic imbalance, limiting our movement and potentially leading to pain. KMI Structural Integration is a powerful series of bodywork sessions designed to address these imbalances and return us to ease, comfort, and greater freedom.
