Miles River Middle School was constructed in 1998 and supports the educational development of early adolescents in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as Spanish, fine arts, algebra and health science. The school also offers several after-school cocurricular activities, as well as an intramural program. Its campus includes a contemporary media center, science and computer laboratories, and specialized classrooms for art, music and life skills. The school s student council provides students with opportunities to develop personal and social skills. Its media center stocks a variety of reading and reference materials and electronic resources. Miles River Middle School is a part of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District and is located in Hamilton, Mass.
