Youth Opportunities Upheld, also known as Y.O.U., is a child welfare and behavioral health organization located in Central Massachusetts. It provides a range of social, psychological, educational and vocational rehabilitative programs for troubled and at-risk children, adolescents and families. Established in 1971, the organization offers more than 30 programs related to outpatient family care, community-based, residential and educational services. Youth Opportunities Upheld serves over 8,000 individuals and features independent living programs that enhance the daily living skills of people and help them in becoming self-reliant. It also features the Teen Parent Apartment program that provides residential services to homeless teenage mothers and their children. The organization additionally offers vocational and career training programs.
