Unity By the Bay is a Christian community that welcomes all denominations. Its mission is to create a community of love, acceptance, compassion and abundance to the earth and all its inhabitants. The community practices prayer, meditation and the study of teachings. Classes, workshops, prayer, and meditation groups are scheduled frequently throughout the year. Newcomers meet the second Sunday of each month, and the church also has a youth ministry. Unity by the Bay is lead by Dr. Marianne Connally (Mahala). Mahala is a Licensed Unity Teacher certified from Unity School of Christian Studies. Her teachings are based on the circular model created by Dr. Angeles Arrien, as well as conflict resolution and peace making.
