Known as "The Cruising Authority," the Waterway Guide publishes regional specific annual editions of their Waterway Guide that boaters consider an indispensible companion for mile-by-mile navigation information and comprehensive data on more than 3,800 marinas along the waterways. The Guides feature helpful aerial photographs with white-lined routes, detailed planning maps, and a "Skipper's Handbook" with essential cruising information and advice. Each Waterway Guide is approximately 500 pages, and for added durability and easy use in the cockpit and at the helm, the guides feature flexible spiral bindings and heavy laminated covers with bookmarker flaps.
Updated annually by experienced on-the-water cruising editors, the Waterway Guide offers six editions – Great Lakes, Northern, Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic ICW, Southern and Bahamas, covering the coastal waters from Maine to Florida, the Gulf of Mexico, the Great Lakes and the Great Loop Cruise of America's inland waterways, as well as the islands of the Bahamas.
The Waterway Guide also maintains a website of valuable resources such as weather, boater bulletin boards, cruising resources, forums, navigation updates, a waterway planner, and lists of retailers who carry their publication.
