Washington Apple Pi is an Apple and Macintosh users group that offers training, bulletin boards and information exchanges. Historically, Apple Pi organized as a nonprofit social club in 1981 and the group began to meet every Tuesday to complete basic computer tasks and functions. Now, its weekly meeting continues with the group members helping other members with installation of memory and drives along with configured software and other technical support. In addition to social activities, the club publishes a journal and operates an online store that sells t-shirts, hats, calendars and gifts.
