One of Rockville's oldest elementary schools, Twinbrook is a longtime fixture of the neighborhood that serves a growing and increasingly diverse community. With two-thirds of the school's students on Free and Reduced-price Meals, Twinbrook receives academic support funds through the federal Title I program. The motto of "Success for every student" guides the school's vision of student empowerment to be critical thinkers in a safe environment that fosters academic and social growth. Twinbrook offers the county's preschool program as well as Head Start. Special education programs serve students with learning and academic disabilities and provide behavioral interventions and support.
