I just had a great two night, mid-week stay in the tent only (Heron) loop of the Tuckahoe campground, site #42. The spacing and woodsy shading in this part of the campground provides more privacy...

I love Tuckahoe's campsite, especially the Dog Wood (dog friendly) cabin. Tuckahoe offers traditional camp sites as well as an electric loop for RVs, etc, which is where the Dog Wood cabin is...

At Tuckahoe park you can pick many different things to do from hiking to camping a nice lake for kayaking, stream fishing, horse trails, Birds All ages friendly You won't be disappointed
