Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a tertiary care facility that features specialty and sub-specialty services. It is comprised of more than 350 beds and a staff of more than 2,500 health care professionals with links to specialized clinical research. Peninsula Regional, at the hub of the Peninsula Regional Health System, provides comprehensive interventional and surgical cardiac care and houses the largest cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation program in Maryland. In addition to general medical and surgical care, women's and children's services, outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, Peninsula Regional is home to the region's designated emergency and trauma center, an orthopaedic and rehabilitation center, the Peninsula Stone Center, the Peninsula Breast Diagnostic Center as well as multidisciplinary cancer care and neurosurgical services.
