Since 1999, Byrley Law Office, L.L.C attorneys have practiced U.S. immigration and nationality law before the administrative courts and agencies of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Justice. John Byrley, Esq. John Byrley is the principal of the Firm. He received a Juris Doctor, with honors, in 1992, from University of Florida College of Law, where he served as the Executive Research Editor on the Florida International Law Journal. From 1993 to 1994, he practiced business, estates and trusts, and real estate law in Gainesville, Florida. From 1994, John was based in in Washington DC, working on a variety of international development projects for Central and Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union, with the US-Ukraine Foundation, Chemonics International, and Democratic-Russia USA Foundation. More recently, John served with Freedom House, a prominent nongovernmental organization working globally for the rule-of-law, democratization and human rights. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Howard County Bar Association and the Bars of Maryland, Virginia DC, and Florida ( inactive ). His practice is primarily limited to U.S. immigration and nationality law matters in all jurisdictions throughout the United States and abroad. What Do We Do? We provide a variety of immigration, naturalization, and visa services to clients in the metropolitan metropolitan Washington DC, area. Our practice includes work- and family-based immigration and a wide range of visa and consular issues.
