History
Our vision is to be the stewards of all that is Stoney Creek and to support that experience through beautiful interiors, stunning gardens, and authentic, warm personal service and to share that experience with many people from many places. Our mission is to embody the spirit of relaxation that is Stoney Creek, and to welcome and care for our guests so that they leave refreshed, renewed and eager to return. Stoney Creek was purchased in 2004 by David Kempton, Joe Farone, and Brandon Green and is managed by Innkeeper Denise Lawhead and Assistant Innkeeper Heather Briscoe. Since the purchase in November of 2004, friends of Stoney Creek have worked tirelessly to create what you see today. Four and a half baths have been added and a fifth totally remodeled. The rooms have been painted, papered, sanded, and decorated to flow with the heritage of the historic home and to bring it into the 21st century.
