The National Center for Children and Families offers a range of community-based services for low-income individuals. It maintains an adolescent services division that provides therapeutic, residential and social support services to youths. The center administers the Greentree Adolescent Program, as well as operates Greentree School. The National Center for Children and Families also offers the FutureBound Independent Living Program. It maintains the Betty Ann Krahnke Center, which is a 50-plus-bed facility that serves individuals with domestic violence problems. The National Center for Children and Families provides the Family Stabilization Program, which serves homeless families in Montgomery County in Maryland. In addition, the center offers various foster care and adoption services.
