Fountaindale Elementary School is a public school that is a part of Washington County Public Schools, which serves over 20,000 students in approximately 40 schools. It has a staff of nearly 40 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals who provide classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Fountaindale Elementary School also provides counseling, food, transportation and health care services. The school has a parent-teacher association that works to foster close relations between the community and school and welcomes parents to attend meetings and participate in its varied activities. Established in 1949, Fountaindale Elementary School has an annual enrollment of more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five.
