Little Flowers by Odyssey is a formal wear design company founded by Elizabeth St. John. The collection is made up of bridal gowns, dresses for bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids and flower girls, plus menswear and accessories. St. John, who grew up in Washington, D.C., became interested in formal wear design while still a child. Her mother was also an evening wear dress designer, and St. John appreticed in her shop with the idea of one day starting her own business. Her father worked as an expert tailor. In 1999, she launched her first Little Flowers formal dress collection, and her business has grown since then. Because she is deeply concerned about preserving the environment, St. John uses natural or sustainable materials and vegetable dyes as well as small batch production techniques and practices fair trade labor.
