When the YWCA closed their doors in the summer of 2015, many parents were left in need of quality care at affordable rates. In an effort to serve the growing community's child care needs, Discovery Child Development Center was born! Discovery officially opened the doors for service on November 2, 2015.

Discovery CDC is staffed with wonderful teachers who go above and beyond to provide parents with quality child care at an affordable rate. Our children range in age from six weeks through twelve years. We are licensed through the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care and our teachers receive a minimum of twelve hours professional development training each year. All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR, as well as Basic Health & Safety, Medication Administration and Emergency Preparedness. We currently accept DSS Purchase of Care Vouchers, Child Care Aware and the USDA Coast Guard Subsidy to assist with weekly tuition rates. Contact us today to schedule a tour!
