The Arrow Project, based out of Austin, Texas, began in 1992 under the vision of Mark A. Tennant. This ministry offers a number of programs and focuses primarily on educating foster children who have been victimized by trauma or abuse. The Fair Meadows campus, based in Bel Air, is geared toward girls between the ages of 13 and 21 who need assistance in making the transition from foster care to independent living. At this facility, young women are supported by mental health care professionals and have access to therapy sessions, academic instruction and constructive extracurricular activities. While in the program, the girls live either in dormitories or apartment-style cottages on campus and are encouraged to seek employment within the community.
