The Aberdeen Senior Activity Center, which is administered by the Harford County Office on Aging, offers recreation, education and personal development. Arts and crafts classes range from basket weaving to crocheting. Computer classes teach seniors how to navigate the Web and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, and help make them be more comfortable with the keyboard and mouse. There is a small library and a helpful information center with various handouts. The center is designed for both work and play, complete with billiard and game rooms. The center also offers seniors hot lunches at reduced rates. Handicapped parking can be found in front of the building on Franklin Street. Additional parking is located at the rear of the building.
