History
June of 2014 was when The Whole Grain Bakeshop opened in the basement of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Brewer, Maine. Many customers and three and a half years later, the bakeshop moved to its new location just down the road, at 231 North Main Street. The bakeshop is on the corner of North Main and Center Streets, across North Main St., from the Brewer Food Pantry.
Specialties
The Whole Grain Bakeshop is a small artisan bakeshop where EVERYTHING is gluten free, dairy free, and soy free, and there are many vegan choices available. The all-natural baked-goods are made fresh and from-scratch with high-quality, healthful ingredients, most of which are minimally processed, certified organic, and non-gmo verified. I use whole grain gluten free flours, natural vegan sugars, pure flavors and extracts, and plant-based food colors. Stop by the bakeshop today and try something delicious, your taste buds with thank you! The bakeshop offers breads, sweet treats, homemade soups and salads, coffee, teas, cold beverages, Maine apple cider, Maine maple products, clean candy, and beautiful Maine photo cards by a local photographer. Also, on the 4th Friday of the month, the bakeshop serves up fresh Pizza, with a dairy free option available. More information is available on The Whole Grain Bakeshop Facebook page. I hope to see you at the bakeshop, Kelly Thompson, Owner & Baker
