Glynn Sarah Glynn is a retired United States Navy Commander and has been practicing law since 1999. She concentrates her practice on family law, criminal law, and civil litigation in courts throughout Maine, but focuses her practice in Oxford, Androscoggin, Cumberland, and Franklin counties. Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Sarah was the child of two educators who established the family homestead in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts. Following in her parents? footsteps, Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science in Education degree, with a dual major in Special Education and Elementary Education, from Westfield State College in Westfield Massachusetts in 1978. Faced with the prospect of settling into a calm life at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, Sarah chose instead to join the Navy as an unrestricted line officer, a career choice that she immediately embraced for its demands, its challenges, and its tremendous professional and personal rewards. Upon retirement from the Navy, Sarah selected the University of Maine School of Law in Portland to pursue her JD degree. Impressed with the high quality of life in the State of Maine, Sarah has remained and is delighted to have been welcomed into the community. Sarah lives in South Paris with her husband and their two sons and has a grown daughter, Erin, and a granddaughter, Eva, who reside in Washington State. She is active with several volunteer opportunities through Kiwanis, veterans service groups, and community bands. Linda Russell has been practicing law for over 20 years. Her current practice focuses on estate planning, probate and real estate, but over her career she has handled many different types of legal matters, representing individuals, businesses and governmental entities. No matter what the legal issue, she welcomes the opportunity to meet with clients, discuss ways to prevent trouble and find the right solutions for problems that have already occurred. Linda C. Russell Linda was born in Camden, New Jersey. After college she moved to Maine. She worked as a first mate on a fishing boat and a nursing home administrator before going to law school. After receiving her J.D., Linda clerked for the Honorable Daniel E. Wathen and Samuel W. Collins, Jr., Justices of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She was a partner at Petruccelli, Martin & Haddow in Portland, Maine and, just prior to joining Sarah Glynn in the Oxford Hills, she taught sixth grade at Gilbert School in Augusta, and paralegal students at Andover College.
