History
The Tap House was created to offer Bridgton locals and visitors a classic bar experience. While we do offer a small, seasonal and always homemade menu of small plates, our vision was and always will be a bar. Housed in a circa-1900 warehouse on Depot Street in downtown Bridgton, we are proud to have restored the historic building and led the revitalization of the district. While it sits just off Main Street, the Tap House offers an intimate, low-key space to enjoy a classic cocktail, play darts and chill on the brookside back deck. From the beginning, our customers have embraced the Tap House vibe: We exclusively pour local craft beer on tap, have a wall of unique cocktails and offer every spirit distilled in the great state of Maine. There's no tv, and patrons talk to each other. Friendships have been made, romances have been made, proposals have been made. It is a special place.
