Groton School
Established in 1884, Groton School is a coeducational boarding school providing education to students in grades eight through 12. The school curriculum includes studio art, classics, English, history, math, modern languages, and religion and ethics. Additionally, it provides classes in science, technology, and physical and special education programs. The school also offers advanced placement courses in biology, calculus, chemistry, physics, environmental science, government and politics, music, world history, and Latin, English, French and German language and literature. It offers various athletic options, such as cross country, hockey, football, soccer, lacrosse, squash and tennis. It also offers internship programs for college graduates to develop the varied skills required for pursuing careers in teaching. The school is located in Groton, Mass.
